Editorial policy and corrections

ibrahingil.com is a personal platform meant to help you live, work, create and decide better with technology. It covers AI, phones, computers, security, productivity, tools, making things and buying decisions, without claiming to be a news outlet or a professional authority.

Concrete needs come first, along with content that can add context. Content is not mass-produced for search engines, and empty categories are not published to look bigger than we are.

You must be able to follow the source.

Official sources, original documentation and direct testing are used wherever they exist. Important claims are checked against more than one reference, or stated with their limits when they cannot be confirmed.

Software versions, prices, availability and other changing information carry the date they were checked, and are revised when they stop being reliable.

Each piece states whether it comes from direct experience, desk research, personal opinion, a demonstration, or AI assistance.

Not every sentence means the same thing.

The product or process was used, and what could be observed is reported.

The conclusion comes from documentation and cross-checked sources.

It is a personal judgement, identified as such and open to discussion.

A provisional example used to explain an idea, not a real claim.

AI may have helped explore or draft; review and responsibility remain human.

In the Recommendations section it will never be claimed that a product was tested if it was not.

Editorial judgement comes before any relationship.

Future commercial relationships will be identified next to the content or link concerned. A commission, sponsorship or gifted product will not decide a recommendation on its own.

Correcting is part of publishing.

Copyright, licences, quotations and attribution for third-party images and materials are respected. If you spot a mistake, write to contacto@ibrahingil.com giving the page and the problem, without sending sensitive data.

A Correction fixes a factual error; a Clarification adds context to something that was correct; an Update brings in new or changed information. Minor style changes do not require an individual public note.

Brief context to prevent a confusing reading.

A summary of a later change in data or availability.

Material changes are not deleted quietly. This policy does not promise infallibility or a specific response time.

This policy describes one person’s process; there is no newsroom and no editorial board.
